Frequently asked questions
Everything about booking, your stay and bringing the dog. Still not sure? We're always happy to help.
Booking & deposits
Book instantly here on the site: choose your dates, pick your cabin and pay securely by card. Your booking is confirmed straight away and you'll get a confirmation email — no waiting for us to come back to you. Booking direct is always cheaper than the listing sites.
The deposit is £50 per night at the cabins and £100 per night at The Oxwich Bay Lodge, up to a maximum of £200 for stays of up to 7 nights — beyond seven nights, the extra nights are added at the same rate. It secures your dates, and the balance is due 14 days before arrival; we'll email you a secure payment link nearer the time. You can also pay the whole stay up front at checkout if you'd rather have nothing left to settle.
We're sorry, but deposits are non-refundable. If the balance isn't paid 14 days before arrival, the deposit is lost.
Get in touch and we'll move you if we can — we need at least 14 days' notice, the original dates paid in full, and the new dates to be worth the same or more. Your deposit moves with the booking. What we can't do is refund it if you decide not to come.
Yes — one night is fine from Sunday to Thursday. Friday and Saturday arrivals need a minimum of two nights, all year round.
We'll email you a secure payment link about two weeks before you arrive — one click, pay by card, done. Nothing to arrange by phone or bank transfer. If you chose to pay in full at booking, there's nothing more to pay.
Yes. Payments are handled by Stripe, one of the largest payment processors in the world. Your card details go straight to them — we never see or store them.
Only at The Oxwich Bay Lodge, where there's a refundable £100 good-housekeeping bond. You settle it with us on the day you arrive and we send it straight back once we've looked round after you leave — which, for the vast majority of our guests, is exactly what happens. The four cabins have no bond.
Yes, up until 7:30pm — after that, same-day arrivals close for the night and the earliest you can book online is tomorrow. If you're stuck, message us and we'll do what we can.
The person making the booking needs to be 18 or over.
Your stay
Each cabin sleeps 4 — that can be up to 4 adults, or 2 adults and up to 2 children (14 or under). The Oxwich Bay Lodge sleeps 5, with up to 3 children. The nightly price includes 2 adults; each extra adult is £50 per night, and children are never charged.
Check-in is between 3pm and 7pm. Check-out is no later than 10am.
Landimore, Gower, Swansea, SA3 1HD — right on the Gower coastal path.
Yes — every cabin has its own fire pit, and it doubles as a BBQ, so bring something to cook. Please keep an eye on it while it's lit. What we can't allow is disposable BBQs, which scorch the decking and the grass. The Oxwich Bay Lodge also has its own BBQ area.
A partial refund of £50 per day may be issued for issues such as boiler faults, plumbing problems or hot tub faults.
Often, yes — late check-out until 11am is £20 and depends on whether anyone is arriving that afternoon. Add it when you book, or just ask us during your stay.
Dogs
Yes — at Brandy Cove and The Langland Bay Lookout. The Caswell Bay Hide Out, The Rhossili Bay Secret and The Oxwich Bay Lodge don't take dogs. Up to 2 dogs are welcome at no extra charge; if you'd like to bring more, send us an enquiry with the breed and size of each and we'll let you know. Please tell us in advance if you're bringing a dog. Bring their own bedding, keep them off the furniture, the beds and out of the bath, don't leave them alone in the cabin, dry them off when they come in wet, and clear up after them outside. Any damage caused by a dog is chargeable.
Hot tubs
Yes — every cabin has its own luxury six-seater hot tub.
