Booking terms & house rules
Here's everything you need to know before and during your stay — how booking and payment work, our cancellation policy, and the house rules that keep the cabins lovely for everyone. See Booking & Payment, Cancellations and House Rules below for the details. If anything isn't covered here, just get in touch and we'll help.
Booking & payment terms
If your arrival is 15 or more days away, you can secure your booking with a deposit — the balance is due 14 days before you arrive. If your arrival is 14 days or fewer away, the full amount is payable at the time of booking.
The deposit is £50 per night at the cabins and £100 per night at The Oxwich Bay Lodge, up to a maximum of £200 for stays of up to 7 nights. Longer than that and the nights beyond the first seven are added at the same nightly rate.
We'll send a reminder before your balance is due. If it isn't paid in time, we may have to cancel the booking, and the deposit is not refunded.
The Oxwich Bay Lodge also has a refundable £100 good-housekeeping bond. You settle it with us on the day you arrive, and we send it straight back once we've looked round after you leave — which, for the vast majority of our guests, is exactly what happens. The four cabins have no bond.
Each cabin sleeps 4 — 2 adults and 2 children (aged 14 or under). The Oxwich Bay Lodge sleeps 5 — 2 adults and 3 children. The nightly rate covers 2 adults; if you'd like to bring more adults instead of children, up to 4 adults in total, each extra adult is £50 per night.
Check-in is between 3pm and 7pm. If you're going to arrive later than 7pm, please let us know in advance. Check-out is by 10am.
Running a bit later on departure day? Late check-out until 11am is available where possible for £20 — ask at booking or speak to us during your stay.
The person making the booking must be 18 or over.
Cancellation policy
Bookings are non-refundable. If you cancel before your balance is due, your deposit is not refunded. If you cancel within 14 days of arrival, any money you've already paid is not refunded.
If you need to leave earlier than planned during your stay, we're not able to refund the nights you don't use.
The one exception: if severe weather or travel disruption stops you reaching us, contact us and we will arrange it — either a full refund or alternative dates, subject to availability.
House rules
Dogs are welcome at Brandy Cove and The Langland Bay Lookout — up to 2 per booking, at no extra charge. The Caswell Bay Hide Out, The Rhossili Bay Secret and The Oxwich Bay Lodge don't take dogs. If you'd like to bring more than 2, send us an enquiry with the breed and size of each first. Please tell us in advance if you're bringing a dog. Bring their own bedding, keep them off the furniture, the beds and out of the bath, don't leave them alone in the cabin, dry them off when they come in wet, and clear up after them outside. Any damage caused by a dog is chargeable.
Every cabin has its own fire pit, which doubles as a BBQ — it must be supervised at all times while it's lit. Please don't use disposable BBQs anywhere on site; they scorch the decking and the grass. The Oxwich Bay Lodge also has its own BBQ area.
Hot tubs must be switched off by 10pm.
We don't allow outdoor speakers or outdoor music at any time — sound carries a long way here and we want every stay to be peaceful for everyone nearby.
Smoking is only permitted on the decking areas — please don't smoke inside the cabin or anywhere else on site.
We don't allow parties or events, and the cabins are for booked guests only — friends, family or other visitors aren't permitted on site.
Please be considerate of other guests and of us at all times — repeated or serious problems may mean being asked to leave.
